Erasmus Mundus programme provides support to:
-Higher Education Institution in developing and running joint master/PhD programmes.
-Students who want to apply for scholarship under different programs like undergraduate studies, master’s studies, doctoral and postdoctoral studies.
-Teacher’s researchers and other academic staff for fellowship programmes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- National of European or Non-European Country(Check before applying where your candidature status falls)
-Previous Qualifications: The candidates should have excellence in academia: assessing the educational curriculum of the candidate i.e. previous degrees, post-graduate courses, specialization courses, scientific publications.
- Proficiency in languages of the consortium.
- Appropriateness :Is the eligible candidate apt for the particular course- Match between the candidate’s profile and the programme. Suitable professional experience is evaluated.
- Recommendations – based on the confidential assessment of the candidate by two referees.
The scholarship and fellowship amount varies on the following factors:
-Nationality (European and Non-European)
-Level (studies/research/teaching)
- Duration
Applications: Full filled Application Performa for Erasmus Mundus programme( with or without scholarship) should directly submitted to the consortium/partner offering the Erasmus mundus programme. If you are selected for the Erasmus mundus scholarship programme then you will be required to spend a period between three months to three years in Europe for studying/teaching/research, but it is must to return back to your home country at the end of your programme.
