Eligibility:
-Applicants must have been enrolled as an undergraduate student in entomology at a college or university in the United States, Mexico or Canada in the fall prior to the application deadline;
-if the college or university the student is attending does not offer a degree in entomology, the student must be preparing for a career as an entomologist through his/her studies.
-The student must also have accumulated a minimum of 90 college credit hours by September 1 following the application deadline, and either completed two junior-level entomology courses or have a research project in entomology. Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need.

Scholarship Description: Each year, BioQuip Products, a major supplier of entomology equipment, sponsors a $2,000 undergraduate scholarship to assist students in the upcoming academic year to achieve their goal of obtaining a degree in entomology or pursuing a career as an entomologist. This Entomological Foundation scholarship is designed to encourage student interest in entomology. The award is presented at the ESA Annual Meeting. The $2,000 is given to the student in two payments: $1,000 is presented to the student during the year the award is given and $1,000 the following spring/summer.
