Eligibility:
-Indian faculty/researchers should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent published work with at least five years of college/university level teaching experience;
-professionals outside academe should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent published work with recognized professional standing and at least five years relevant experience;
-if employed, applications should be routed through proper channel; and
-preferably be 50 years of age or under.

Scholarship Description: The visiting lecturer fellowships for four months are designed for Indian faculty, researchers and professionals.
A comparative or cross-cultural perspective is encouraged. Indian academics and professionals contribute to internationalization of the curriculum at their U.S. host institutions and understanding of recent developments in India. The recipient will be affiliated as a visiting scholar at a U.S. college, university or research institution, and will teach courses (individually or team-teach), or offer a series of seminars at the U.S. host institution.
