The Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program is a merit-based, federally funded, renewable scholarship for graduating high school seniors

Scholarship Description: In addition to completing FAME’s application, a student must:
-Be a Maine resident and high school/home schooled senior graduating by June 2011
-Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average based on a 4.0 scale
-Demonstrate academic rigor and community service involvement
-Be enrolled full-time at an eligible post-secondary school beginning fall 2011
-Submit all required supplemental forms and documents by the required deadline
The award amount for the 2011-2012 academic year is $1,500.
