Scholarship can be taken at: France
Eligibility: -Ph.D. in the physical sciences or chemistry.
-We are particularly interested in highly motivated candidates with knowledge of neutron scattering techniques.
-A strong background in instrumentation, in particular neutron polarization analysis, is an asset.
-The post represents an excellent opportunity for young postdoctoral scientists to develop expertise, broaden experience and interact with leading scientists from around the world.
-Applications from more experienced scientists able to obtain a secondment period from their home institution will also be considered.
-NB: -A list of publications should be enclosed with the applications.

Scholarship Open for International Students: No
Scholarship Description: Working within the Time-Of-Flight and High-Resolution (TOF/HR) Group, you will be co-responsible for the polarized neutron spectrometer D7 participating both in its operation and technical development. In addition to carrying out your own active research programme, you will be responsible for assisting ILL’s visiting scientists with their experiments. Duties will also include the promotion of scientific partnerships in your field of research. The instrument D7 is strongly anchored in magnetism. While wishing to preserve this focus we aspire to open D7 up to new communities and would consider applicants with research backgrounds in other fields, such as soft matter or materials science.
