The Forest Foundation Scholarship fund was established to recognize the accomplishments of full-time students majoring in Dance at Columbia College Chicago, and to help defray the cost of tuition and fees.
The Forest Foundation Dance Scholarship is open to:
- Continuing full-time Dance majors who plan on graduating with a BFA degree in Dance
- Students who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above
- International students
Award based on: Merit
Award amount: Two $1500 awards (awarded Fall 2011) - One awarded to a student with a freshmen/sophomore status and one awarded to a student with a junior/senior status

Student concert productions at The Dance Center are free and open to the public, though audience members are encouraged to make a small and voluntary donation of $5.00 in lieu of a ticket payment. All monetary contributions collected during these student concerts are dedicated to the Forest Foundation Scholarship Fund, and we are very grateful for this support from our patrons.

Patrons who chose to make additional contributions to the Forest Foundation Scholarship Fund of $50 or more will receive the benefits of a Friend of The Dance Center and be recognized as a Forest Scholarship Foundation Donor in all Dance Center performance programs. Please consider increasing your donation or donate online now to support our dance students continue their education, developing their skills and personal voice, and maturity as dance artists.
