Scholarship Description: Bursaries are granted each year to one male and one female applicant who demonstrate potential for studies at the Community collge levell. Each successful applicant receives a $2,000.00 bursary.
Applicants must:
be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and intend to register in September 2011 in the first year of a COLLEGE OF APPLIED ARTS & TECHNOLOGY as a full-time student;
have a physical disability which severely restricts their physical activities;
have a demonstrated commitment to academic study;
have demonstrated leadership and community service; and
have demonstrated participation in extra-curricular activities.
A committee will meet in June 2011 to select the successful applicant. All applicants will be informed of the committee’s decision.It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all documents are forwarded to the Bloorview School Authority The Bloorview School Authority is not responsible for lost or incomplete applications. Applications with incomplete supporting documentation can not be considered. Do not send originals.
