Scholarship Description: The Australian Postgraduate Awards (Industry) (APAI) scholarship is within a three-year ARC Linkage grant of the  University of South Australia, addressing how Australians will meet the challenge of climate change by increasing environmentally sustainable behaviours and reducing their ‘environmental footprint’.
It joins up the issue of ‘work-life’ to this challenge, asking how the lived experience of putting together jobs, homes and communities affects the environmentally adaptive capacities of Australians; how this varies by gender and socioeconomic status; and what policy and action – at work, at home, or by employers, governments, unions or other bodies – will expand adaptive capacity in all domains of a work, home and community socio-ecosystem.
